Who She Was To Us
The founders of The Patricia Welsh Foundation are the Granddaughters of Pat. Grandma Pat had a very giving nature; she was always helping those in need. Pat has influenced us to do the same. Her caring nature is why we chose to honor her legacy with this foundation.
Go, Mater Dei!
Pat taught as a Catholic school teacher at Rex Mundi and eventually retired from Mater Dei in 1993. As a devout Wild Cats fan, there wasn't a football game she missed, a team player she didn't know, or a coach she didn't support. She lived and breathed Mater Dei football.
